Full Journal pdf2021-04-07 House Journal Page 0546 HB 10 The following was read the second time: HOUSE BILL NO. 10 "An Act relating to the Funter Bay marine park unit of the state park system; relating to protection of the social and historical significance of the Unangax^ cemetery located in Funter Bay; providing for the amendment of the management plan for the Funter Bay marine park unit; and providing for an effective date." with the: Journal Page TRB RPT 4DP 322 FN1: ZERO(DNR) 322 RES RPT 7DP 2NR 519 FN1: ZERO(DNR) 519 Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative McCabe: Page 1, line 9, through page 2, line 2: Delete all material and insert: "(A) Tract A: That portion within the S1/2 NE1/4 and N1/2 SE1/4 of Protracted Section 2, containing approximately 90.2 acres, more or less, as computed from the Bureau of Land Management plat of survey, officially filed December 3, 1999;" Representative McCabe moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Hannan objected. Representative Carpenter rose to a point of order. Representative Edgmon rose to a point of order stating the member should be sitting down and addressing the Speaker. 2021-04-07 House Journal Page 0547 The Speaker asked the member to sit. Representative Carpenter stated that the member insinuated that the amendment was not germane. The Speaker stated the statement was not in order. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" The roll was taken with the following result: HB 10 Second Reading Amendment No. 1 YEAS: 19 NAYS: 21 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Carpenter, Cronk, Eastman, Gillham, Johnson, Kaufman, Kurka, LeBon, McCabe, McCarty, McKay, Nelson, Prax, Rasmussen, Rauscher, Shaw, Thompson, Tilton, Vance Nays: Claman, Drummond, Edgmon, Fields, Foster, Hannan, Hopkins, Josephson, Kreiss-Tomkins, Merrick, Ortiz, Patkotak, Schrage, Snyder, Spohnholz, Story, Stutes, Tarr, Tuck, Wool, Zulkosky And so, Amendment No. 1 was not adopted. Representative Tuck moved and asked unanimous consent that HB 10 be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage. There was objection. HB 10 will advance to third reading on the April 9 calendar.
